          floors waxed to the highest sheen.

The supreme efficiency attributed to the

German mind did not ignore the

twofold benefits of a parquet floor wax,

marketed as ‘Rose’, conferring – in addition

to its merit of odourlessness –

the virtue of washability.

‘Cinderella’ labels from the branch

 of philately known as Erinnofilia.

The Wannsee Conference was convened

in Berlin on January 20, 1942 at 12 o’clock

noon. This meeting of fifteen high ranking

representatives of the German Nazi party,

the Security Police and the Third Reich

administration was held at the Villa

Minoux on the Greater Wannsee,

the lake in south-western Berlin.

The duration of the meeting was

no longer than ninety minutes.

The location was the

Crucible of 20th Century Evil.
